IBS & IBM 

In April, IBS reached an agreement with IBM to become a Business Partner Member. 

Dan Pannell, IBS's Director of E-Commerce Development says, "Actually IBM pursued us because of our reputation with their suit of E-Commerce tools."  IBS has kept an active role in the development of E-Commerce banking applications throughout the past year. 

Ed Nice, President of IBS, believes the relationship will be a win-win situation. "As we succeed in our development projects in the banking industry, IBM will be recognized as having the best tool set. In addition, IBS will be recognized as the vendor to deliver business solutions. This will also benefit IBM's hardware and network business",  explains Nice.

IBS is still researching opportunities to build more synergy with this strategic relationship, as well as deepen it. "We plan to have associates become certified in all the IBM tools and corresponding technologies. This will lead to becoming a Premier Business Partner with IBM which will lead to more benefits for both companies", Pannell added.
